Sundance Poster for 'The Runaways'

The rock biopic The Runaways is one of the films premiering at next month's Sundance Film Festival, which began as an independent film showcase and has kind of become something else over the past few years. However, in this case, The Runaways is still fishing for a distributor. Don't expect that status to last very long. With Twilight's Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning leading the cast, studios will probably clamor over the film, whether it's great or not. It is a good story, though, or at least the story of The Runaways is good, so let's hope the movie isn't overly sanitized or anything. It's a little small, but here's the first poster for the film, which may or may not emphasize the color red.

That's handy; I wish jobs or women came with disclaimers like that. Anyway, don't put too much stock in this one. When a studio gets involved, we'll probably get something else entirely.
