Nic Cage In New 'Kick-Ass' Poster and Clip

One more new Kick-Ass character poster as well as a brand new clip, both of which feature Nicolas Cage, the film's only real star of any note. He plays Big Daddy in the film, which has become one of the fanboy objects of lust since the first footage premiered at Comic Con.

Leaked trailers, a high-priced bidding war that Lionsgate eventually won, and now a glaring spotlight in what has traditionally been the last influential pre-summer weekend of the year, the second weekend in April. As Big Daddy, Cage operates kind of as this movie's version of Splinter, the mentor for TMNT. If you saw (500) Days of Summer, you've seen young Chloe Moretz before. She was Joseph Gordon-Levitt's sister in that flick, and she's equally precocious in this clip with Cage. Enjoy it. Lionsgate has a golden opportunity with this one. It's a possible franchise-in-the-making, and I've not seen a single stitch of it yet that bores me or disinterests me. So, April 16th can't get here soon enough.

Honestly for some reason that clip of Chloe Moretz flying through the air like that made me laugh out loud. I think that might be wrong, but i would guess that it is kind of the point of this movie. I can't wait...
