Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 12:19PM Quentin Tarantino's Top Eight Movies of the Year
Don't hold me to it, but I think Quentin Tarantino does this kind of thing rather frequently. The Inglourious Basterds writer-director has released his personal list of the year's best movies, via an interview with Heat Vision Blog, and the list does not include his own film, even though it should. I mean, he only has eight on the list, so why not throw it in there at number nine?

Granted, QT hasn't seen everything, and we can tell that by some of the films that aren't on here that probably would be if he was in the cineplex a few times a week. Still, I'll give him credit for diversity, and for embracing Star Trek, which is about as good as you'd want a summer blockbuster to be. It really stood out this summer, that's for sure.
1 - Star Trek
2 - Drag Me to Hell
3 - Funny People
4 - Up in the Air
5 - Chocolate
6 - Observe and Report
7 - Precious
8 - An Education Incidentally, our own list is coming this weekend; there are still a couple more to see.

WOW QT I love you and your work your one of the most brilliant people in the bizness & extremely creative but your list couldnt be more wrong....So Ill take it with a grain of salt...
I would cancel Funny People & Observe & Report most definitely...I mean if your gonna put a comedy why not The Hangover but whatev
Wow. Who would of thought Quentin had such terrible taste in movies?
Yay! Star Trek and Observe and Report! I Love QT even more now. Those two and Inglourious Basterds are my favourite movies of the year.
Did you write funny people or observe & report? Did you act in those movies? Hm well then shouldn't you say you are crap or your life is? I mean your saying these movies are horrible when the actors are well known and loved. Are you? Can you make better movies? I'd like to see what kind of movie you would make. Qt is the man because he proved himself so before you put these movies down, or qt down keep in mind those directors accomplished way more then you will in a lifetime.
