Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 4:42PM 'The Bounty Hunter' Poster with Aniston and Butler
Is it just me, or do Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston look like they've gone through the fun house mirror in this new poster for The Bounty Hunter?

They both look a bit too thin in the waist, but I could be wrong about excessive Photoshopping here. I do like the title placement, though. Decent enough premise for a forgettable Aniston movie: A bounty hunter (that would be King Leonidas) finds out that his next job is his ex-wife. Hilarity ensues in equal measure with flying sparks.
Andy Tenant (Hitch) is directing from a script by Sarah Thorp. She also wrote Twisted, one of the lesser Ashley Judd films, which is saying something. It will be one of those flicks that lives and dies by the chemistry of its stars. Aniston very rarely finds an on-screen partner that genuinely works, and I didn't think Butler and Katherine Heigl showed a whole lot in The Ugly Truth.
However, since this instantly reminds me of a spin on Midnight Run, and that movie generated great chemistry from the unlikely duo of Charles Grodin and Robert De Niro, I suppose it's possible here, too.
Bounty Hunter opens March 19th.

Ahh, Midnight Run, what a great film...
Jonathan Mardukas: It means I can't fly. I also suffer from claustrophobia and agoraphobia.
Jack Walsh: Well if you don't shut up, pretty soon you're gonna suffer from fistaphobia.
All these Irish and Scottish actors annoy the hell out of me.
The only reason that they are around is that they speak English (sort of) without actually being English (sort of).
If Gerard Butler only spoke Serbo-Croatian, then everyone would think he was a tosser.
