With one more week left in 2009, we started rolling back the clock a bit and reflecting on the year's best and worst. There's more to come, but we have some of the highlights listed below, including your chance to vote for the best movie of the past 12 months.

Beyond that, it's been pretty light. The news has slowed, although curiously, the number of high-quality trailers has really accelerated in the past seven days, including our first look at The Karate Kid remake, which is astoundingly not nearly as bad as we would have thought.
So here are the headlines, and if you celebrate the holidays, then happy holidays. If not, have a good weekend.

well of course that you have to include Precious in this list, I don't have the chance to watch the movie, but the positive feedback of my friend, and the impressive number of nominations in the academy awards speak by itself, talking about karate kid, I think that probably has been better change the name to kung fu kid.
