Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 3:36AM This Week in Trailers: The Good, The Bad, and Sarah Jessica Parker
Maybe it's the holidays, but this was the biggest week for trailers in a long, long time. It's not just the
sheer number, although that, too, is a consideration, but there were also a lot of big ticket items that were unveiled this week. We
have two trailers for Kick-Ass, swiftly moving to the top of 2010's must-see list, plus films with actual movie stars,
although 2009 provided strong evidence that they weren't all that necessary.

Of course, the law of averages tells us we're bound to have a bad trailer in the mix as well, so welcome to the Kevin Smith buddy
picture Cop Out with Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis, which has all the markings of a giant disappointment. Also, Sex and
the City 2 looks like shit. Conversely, the Karate Kid actually looks pretty decent, so you never can tell.
Cruise and Diaz in Knight and Day
I'll be damned: The Karate Kid trailer is pretty good
Kick-Ass goes international
And meet Hit-Girl from that very movie
Pretty much no story in Sex and the City 2
A completely different look at Ridley Scott's Robin Hood
Red Band: Jude Law in Repo Men
Indie thrilla Frozen is like Open Water on a ski lift
The historical action flick The Warlords with Jet Li
Man, oh man, does Kevin Smith's Cop Out look bad
