Monday, December 28, 2009 at 5:04AM Weekend Recap: Box Office Mayhem, Year-End Stuff
You just lived through the biggest box office weekend ever, so how do you feel? Yeah, thought so. It was, though,
the most money ever earned in three days, pushing the total US grosses to $10.3 billion. In fact, there's a small chance this year can do
a billion more than last year. Avatar led the way, and you can read all about the weekend below.

We've also got some year-end lists, including IMDB's top films of the decade and 2009's most pirated movies, plus a look at what happens
when you ask The King of the World for an autograph.
Go!
Avatar beats Sherlock in biggestest weekend ever
The year in review only takes seven minutes
The Dark Knight tops IMDB voters' list of the decade
Sherlock Holmes review
An update of sorts on the Justice League of America movie
James Cameron vs. the autograph hound
Nothing to be proud of: Top pirated film of the year
In other news:
Opinion: Avatar and the death of storytelling (Cinematical) The best animated films of the year (Roger Ebert) Strange turns for Spielberg and DreamWorks (Thompson on Hollywood) The most disappointing films of the decade (Cinema Blend) Any Lizzy Caplan news is OK by me (Film School Rejects)

am i still the only one that thinks that looks like hugo weeving in that picture? anyway good for avatar for doing so good.
I like that animated list very good movies. Although it did get me wondering. How do movie critics always find all these movies? you must have to be very tuned into the movie underground to find those small movies. I mean i never even heard of ponyo or sita sings the blues. But i guess that's why i dont get paid to do this lol
