Woody Allen just keeps working. He's directed 38 feature films in the past 38 years, and since
1977, he has 21 Oscar nominations (and three wins) to show for it. Even before his next comedy, Whatever Works is
released, he's getting ready to start another film, his fourth in London in as many years.

As always, we don't know what the movie is about or what it's called, but based on the casting news, this looks like it
might be a drama. Variety says that Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins will work with the Wood this summer, and expect more big names to
follow. The film will be funded by Mediapro, a Spanish company that sure did well backing Vicky Cristina Barcelona, which was Woody's highest-grossing film since Hannah and Her Sisters, and fourth on his all-time money list. Not that he cares about that part of it...
Though next to no one saw Cassandra's Dream, released about a year ago, it was another fine, stark drama
set in the UK. It wasn't as good as Match Point but for the second-best movie of the year for a 73-year-old
writer-director, it was more than adequate. So if it is a drama, Woody has been really connecting with those lately.
For Brolin, it's a chance to reunite with Woody, who directed the current Oscar-nominated actor in the messy Melinda and Melinda.
