Joaquin Gets Weird on Letterman

Joaquin Phoenix made a stop on The Late Show tonight to promote Two Lovers, his final film, and...uh, wow. What in the hell has happened to this guy?

Letterman's pretty much justified in making fun of the guy. I mean, he can't let some wayward trucker hijack the show with silence for eight minutes.

Haha, what a smug prick. Grow all the facial hair you want. I can still see your hairlip. We need River back!

How could you possibly think that was real? I remember seeing Andy Kaufman on Letterman many, many years ago and Joaquin Phoenix is no Andy Kaufman. Hell, he's not even an Andy Dick when it comes to doing the poker faced nuisance guest thing opposite Dave. And Dave wasn't even very convincing as the straight man this time. I've seen better.

Zach Galifianakis is hilarious!

That was far more amusing then it should of been. I think letterman handled it well.

Somebody needs to grab him by his whiskers and shake him until he comes to his senses.

Not Letterman, that is.

Inside joke or not, Joaquin comes off as an a-hole. Oh well, at least he's not rapping.

Ok now that I've actually gotten to see him at this bit... I'm all too certain it's utter BS. Ashton Kutcher called he wants his Punk'd back!

Hey Asana, 1992 called and wants its joke back. Did you really just type that, and with an exclamation point? You must have thought that was hilarious. You were wrong.

Hmm that's funny Kevin because as I recall Punk'd was a 2003 series. What, you've nothing to say about the original post or did you have to get that hand tucked back in your shorts?
