Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 10:39AM 'Watchmen' in All Their 8-Bit Glory
If you're looking for a way to combine your anticipation for Watchmen with some good old fashioned 8-bit gameplay, head over to Minutemen Arcade (thanks to Slashfilm for the head's up), where a short but authentic looking game will let you beat up goons for a few minutes.

It's clearly inspired by the old Double Dragon game, so if Watchmen plays its cards right, there might be a movie made out of this game one day. Exciting, isn't it?
It functions more like a demo, so don't expect to waste all afternoon playing it, unless you're just frightfully bad at videogames. But if you want to kill five minutes, head over to the Minutemen Arcade.

I like that you can vandalize mailboxes. I mean, isn't that like a felony?
Also, Steve Weibe had the official high score until friggin' Billy Mitchell sent in a suspicious tape to Twin Galaxies.
Bastard.
Will. Nice.
Nothing beats a Billy Mitchell reference. Except a Billy Mitchell tie. Or haircut.
