Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 1:09PM 'Wolverine' Invades 'Family Guy,' 'House,' and 'Idol'
We just received an e-mail from Fox announcing a new Wolverine promotional event tied to three of its network's biggest prime time shows. Saying it's too big for one night - which really isn't accurate because, well, the Super Bowl happens on one night - Fox will spread three sixty second commercials for X-Men Origins: Wolverine over three nights.

Beginning Sunday, you can watch the first commercial revealed during Family Guy, and then on Monday, one will air during House, and Tuesday's American Idol has the third commercial.
Why are they doing it this way? Apparently, the commercials all tie together, so the one on Sunday leads into the one on Monday leads into the one on Tuesday. When you think of it in those terms, it's a three-minute trailer, and I think we're all game for that.
It all starts Sunday during Family Guy, and we'll try to get the complete three-minute version up on the site as soon as possible next week.

What would be cooler is if they had Hugh Jackman make appearances in all those shows.
