Three New Action-Packed 'Wolverine' Photos

Fox spent much of the fourth quarter of 2008 licking its wounds. Let's face it: That was a year to forget. Bad movies and big bombs were the name of the game (if you don't count Fox Searchlight, and even still, that's a lot of ground for two movies to make up). But 2009 is already a different story. The studio rolled into the year nicely with Marley & Me, and Taken should be a $100 million smash, too. Whereas no other studio has more than one movie in the top ten of the year, Fox has two with Taken and Bride Wars, and three if you are counting Fox Searchlight (Notorious). The big noisemaker for the studio, at least through the first half of the year, will be X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Despite the leaked news of reshoots at the end of the year, there's still a ton of anticipation for this one, and Fox is trying to keep the movie on the front page with all sorts of little gimmicks. Three new photos have premiered online in the past few hours, although not in the same place. IGN, Coming Soon, and Latino Review all received exclusive images from the film, showing Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Sabertooth (Liev Schreiber), and Gambit (Taylor Kitsch). Wolverine kicks off the summer on May 1st.
