Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 3:38AM Bizarre New 'Haunting in Connecticut' Poster
The Haunting in Connecticut
says it's based on true events, and if that's the case, then this new poster has some 'splainin' to do.

The film is steeped in that Exorcist tradition: Kid is diagnosed with cancer, so the family uproots its life and moves to Connecticut for treatment. The thing is...that's not cancer.
The film stars Virginia Madsen
as the concerned mother, and Kyle Gallner
goes through all sorts of hell, perhaps literally.
Here's the new poster for The Haunting in Connecticut, and no, I can't figure out what that is, either. You can click on the poster to expand it and maybe you can figure out what that is. Or maybe we're just not supposed to no.

The Haunting in Connecticut opens March 27th.

I would hazard a guess that it's supposed to be ectoplasm. I seem to remember reading stories of mediums who would have ectoplasm coming out of their mouths in a similar fashion during a seance. Of course, most of them were frauds, but still...
quite scary.
I don't know but that shape looks oddly similar to certain adult toys I've seen.
It looks like he's eating a tree.
