New 'Watchmen' Poster - No More Masks

As a fan of movie posters in general and of great movie marketing in particular, I was a little disappointed by the most recent one-sheet for Watchmen, which was released last week. I don't know the genesis of this new poster over at Trailer Addict, but it might be the best one yet. The one thing about it that might keep Warner Bros. from making it available everywhere is that it's awfully busy, and posters, like advertising billboards, are supposed to be pretty fee of clutter. It works in this case, telling you enough about what you need to know and managing to show you all the Watchmen at the same time. The film will be in theaters - can you believe it? - in five weeks.
