Linda Hamilton "Negotiating" Role in 'Terminator Salvation'
Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 9:07PM
It has been rumored that Linda Hamilton will make an appearance of some kind in Terminator
Salvation. Now that might sound to you like one of those unfounded rumors since, after all, she turned town
Terminator 3 and she was married to and is now divorced from James Cameron.
But Hamilton tells MTV, "We are talking. I haven’t read it yet. I don’t know what direction they will go in.”
She knows this much: It'll be a voiceover. “I would probably be very happy to loan my voice depending on what the
material is. Wait and see. They’re already writing it. We’ve been negotiating it.”
The voiceover makes sense, and what harm could it do to the legacy, really? It's getting to the point, though,
that everybody but Jim Cameron is coming back for the fourth one, which I take to mean that McG's vision could be a serious,
worthwhile installment in the franchise.
There might also be another reason. Says Hamilton, “It would be great fun."
