Friday, February 20, 2009 at 4:41AM Week in Review: Oscars, Watch 'Watchmen', Leo's 'WarGames'
It's Oscar weekend, and that means, of course, no good movies for another nine months.
Just kidding.
Actually, with Watchmen two weeks away, my five-year-old theory about Hollywood moving to a two-season year
is that much closer to becoming a reality. The theory goes: Summer begins the weekend after the Oscars and runs
through Labor Day. Take a breath for two weeks. Then it's awards season until late February. Oh, it's happening.

To get you in the right frame of mind, we've been showcasing some different Oscar-related features here at The Big
Picture this week, with a few more still to come. So as we look back at the headlines from the past few days,
we'll also showcase our Oscar coverage, as well.
