Hilarious Trailer for Mel Gibson's 'The Colonel'

About a week ago, I wrote a little piece about Mel Gibson 's upcoming The Edge of Darkness. In it, I wondered if Gibson could enjoy a Tom Cruise-like rebirth following all of his, uh, "issues," and he probably could, albeit slowly. He took a good step last night on Jimmy Kimmel after the Academy Awards, where he talked about his DUI and debuted the trailer for his next epic, a Civil War flick called The Colonel. It explains the facial hair. Ah, Mel...always the practical joker. Just keep it between the ditches from now on.

Some people say this isn't a real movie, but I hope it is, because this man is a damn good actor, and can be very funny. Oh, and about his DUI.. GET OVER IT ! God forgave him a long time ago. There are people that has done a lot worse things than Mel has, and they are not talked about, or made fun of near as much (if any) than Mel has. Also, they don't get their books pulled from book stores like Mel has either. I think people should stop making a bigger fool out of their selves to try to make their pointless point. No one is perfect..we "ALL" make mistakes. No one is more special in God's eyes than anyone else, but if people like making jackasses out of themselves, they have no right to talk bad about another person. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, MEL !!

You are right man I dont know if its a new movie or a spranker going on here, cuase lots are saying it is and other say it is not. So the mystery remain. LOL
He is, was and will always be, a very greate actor and director. I know no other actor who was able to switch form a movie ot another and from a role to another as he did, with such a convincing quality.
When i think of the years where he made up to 4 different movies, and all were greate and so incredibly different, you cant imagine how he did that.
Like how idd the guy shot hamlet the same year as he made "Bird on a Wire"?? sounds unreal.
He is behond what anyone else before him and since, has ever been able to accomplish.
So yes, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, MY DEAR MEL GIBSON!

In the second flick he looks like a young colonel sanders of kentucky fried chicken fame LOL... this looks hilarious... Mel Gibson is such a talent... The old-school guys like Mel, Mickey Rourke, Robert Downey and Sean Penn have still got it over the newer shinier pretty-boy clones that Hollywood promotes...
