Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 12:33AM Uwe Boll Grudgingly Accepts His Razzie
I hope I'm not the only one who enjoys the career misadventures of Uwe Boll. Despite
producing exactly zero profitable movies at the U.S. box office, and with an aggregate IMDB rating of 2.7, Boll
continues to crank out B-movie after B-movie, somehow attracting producers and actors after all these failures.

His...we'll just call it work, for lack of a better term, has finally been singled out by the voters for the
Golden Raspberry Awards. We know them better as The Razzies, and they shine a light on the year's worst in film.
This year, Boll won Worst Director for the films Postal, 1968: Tunnel Rats, and In the Name of the King:
A Dungeon Siege Tale. But that was only the beginning.
Uwe also received the Worst Career Achievement award, for a filmography that includes Alone in the Dark, a
couple of BloodRayne movies, and House of the Dead. For Saturday night's ceremony, Boll was on
location, so he sent in a video thank you. Of sorts.
I can't tell if he's joking. I'm guessing he is, or why bother making the video? But if he's joking, shouldn't
this be funny?
That's asking too much, isn't it? Why should he start being entertaining now? Intentionally, I mean.

That was funny
That was pretty funny actually. I wonder if that's the set of his latest film or something.
That man is a moron.
Definitely the Teutonic sense of humor. Which is why we've had that stream of hysterical German comedies that have swept the world since.....um, no, forget it.
