This weekend, Slumdog Millionaire should enjoy its best weekend yet, some three months into its release. However, that won't be nearly enough to overtake the huge debut of Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience. Yep, the Jonas Brothers are movie stars.

Expect the third biggest opening weekend this year, which is quite a feat considering the number of theaters we're talking about. The Jonas Brothers will only be seen on about 1,200 screens this weekend, and it should make over $30 million. And of course, nothing will come close to that number.
Slumdog should get the bronze medal this weekend, and might make $10 million or more if enough interest is generated by the new Best Picture. That's significantly behind what Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail earns, but hey, at least it has eight Oscars.
The weekend's other new release, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, is also due in just over 1,000 theaters, but its opening weekend will be really pedestrian.
The Top Five:
1 - Jonas Brothers - $32 million
2 - Madea Goes to Jail - $15 million 3 - Slumdog Millionaire - $11 million
4 - Taken - $7 million
5 - Coraline - $6 million
