Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 3:41PM Bruce Willis Sued with a Vengeance
Bruce Willis was all set to make his directorial debut with the movie Three Stories about Joan this year. He had already secured
Owen Wilson and
Camilla Belle to co-star with him in the drama, and production was underway when Willis just abandoned the project.

The Huffington Post reports that Willis now faces a $4 million lawsuit from three companies left holding the bag - Three Stories Productions, Signature Entertainment Group, and the ironically named Foresight Unlimited. The lawsuit claims, "Willis abruptly and without notice terminated his services as director for personal reasons and walked off the set."
Though we certainly don't have all the specifics - or any more than what the plaintiffs allege, actually - it doesn't seem that Willis has much of a case here. I mean, your honor, I may be just an unfrozen caveman lawyer, but you can't just direct part of a movie and leave, can you? It makes you wonder what the personal reasons were for him leaving the movie, and unless it's something along the lines of the production didn't have enough money to finish filming anyway, then this one appears pretty one-sided.
Of course, the other option is that Willis left thinking Ashton Kutcher would come in and finish the job.
