Dig This New Trailer for the Surreal 'Tokyo!'

I love this trailer. Tokyo! is not a normal, straight ahead narrative film, but rather an anthology of three unique visions - a triptych, as it were. It's divided into three stories all set in Tokyo: Interior Design, directed by Michel Gondry, Merde, directed by Leos Carax; and Shaking Tokyo, directed by Bong Joon-ho (The Host). The trailer asks the fascinating question, do we shape cities or do cities shape us? What I really like about the next two minutes of your life is how little is given away but how rich and compelling it all seems. Terrific stuff: Tokyo! premieres in New York and Chicago early next month, and will slowly roll across the country this spring. Check out the official website to learn more.
