Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 5:19PM 'Scott Pilgrim' Casting Call on Craigslist
Collider found an interesting opportunity for you over at the Twitter page of Bryan Lee O'Malley. Who's he? The writer of the comic book Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, which is being adapted into a film directed by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead), and starring Michael Cera.

Apparently, they're casting for the film in Toronto on February 14th, and they've taken to advertising for the open call on Craigslist. So if you're between 18 and 27 (or a youthful 29), you're in, baby! (*Not necessarily.)
"The movie is based on a graphic novel and there are quite a few crowd scenes that take place in a bar scenario. The crowd is made up of males and females, 18 - 27 (up to 29yrs if you have a youthful look, any ethnicity. We are looking for people who can pull of an INDIE ROCK LOOK! They really like slim, skinny builds with interesting faces and looks. Hundreds of people are needed on this film and there's quite a bit of continuity."According to the ad, the shoot will take place the first week of April.
