Jude Looks Like a Lady

I know what you're thinking: Amy Winehouse has never looked so healthy. But that's not it at all. You see, for the new film Rage, Jude Law will step in front of Sally Potter's camera as celebrity supermodel Minx, and it's not just for a scene or two, apparently. Potter says Rage explores "the ugly use of beauty in the pursuit of profit. Drugged by Marketing, sapped by fear of aging, conned by the cult of celebrity...image becomes all." And I have to admit, even though I have one of those eyes that can spot a dude in make-up, I still didn't recognize this as Jude Law at all. The film also stars Judi Dench and Eddie Izzard, among others, and they're both pictured below. Yes, I do realize the irony that the executive transvestite isn't the one in women's clothes. Rage will play at the Berlin Film Festival this month, and international release dates should follow later this year.
