Another 'Dragonball' Trailer, Same Problems

I keep watching these trailers for Dragonball Evolution thinking that they'll finally (and perhaps accidentally) show us something cool. But with each new piece of video, it looks all the more profoundly silly. Can profoundly and silly even describe the same thing? I guess they can now. We'll see if it can turn a corner here in the next couple of months, but the prognosis isn't good to this point. Check out the latest trailer, which does contain some new stuff...but I wouldn't say it's very convincing footage.

It looks just like the manga/anime i don't know why people are still complaining? In fact more people are starting to get into the movie now.

As a die hard Dragon Ball fan i'm very much looking forward to this.

Ok this trailer looks a little better, but in all honesty that's like saying having herpes is better than having gonorrhea.

Mikey, here's the thing. "DragonBall" the manga barely works as an anime series! It's so ridiculous and confusing and over-the-top that the only medium that can thoroughly pay justice to the source material is an animated one. Dragonball Evolution annoys me because it is A. a live-action film, B. a film with terrible casting and C. a film that's more a feature-length advertisement for the merchandise than an actual movie.

Although I'm not going to lie, I'm going to see the movie...just because I looooove watching bad movies, even more so than I like watching good ones.
