Whether or not he makes The Green Hornet, Stephen Chow will most certainly make a
superhero comedy, and to that end, China.org (via Cinema Blend) has revealed that Anne Hathaway is set to star in
Chow's other, homegrown action comedy.

A source says the film, Chow's first foray into Hollywood, will be similar in style to Kung Fu Hustle, and that it
will also star Jack Black. "It will be about a superhero, action-packed, special effects-rich, and of course
funny," said Chow's spokesperson Wei Dasen.
If you haven't seen Kung Fu Hustle, it's not just hype. The film was the highest-grossing foreign language
film in the U.S. four years ago, and it was one of the best, most entertaining, most distinctive films of that
year. So Chow's Hollywood debut is long overdue.
As for Hathaway, I can take her or leave her nearly every time. I did think she showed more moxie in Get
Smart, particularly in the action scenes, and of course, she was very good in Rachel Getting Married,
so this could be a case of a director and an actress latching onto each other at the right time.
