New York Times Celebrates Great Performances

There is a fantastic portfolio online at The New York Times featuring the work of photography Paolo Pellegrin. There are nearly fifty shots in all, featuring seven Oscar nominees and, a bit out of place given the circumstances, Kat Dennings from Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. In addition to the shots, there are great commentaries about each of the stars - Robert Downey, Jr., Kate Winslet, Penélope Cruz, Frank Langella, Mickey Rourke, Dennings, Sean Penn, and Brad Pitt - provided by actors and directors who have worked with them. Both the commentaries and Pellegrin's terrific photographs tell us a fantastic story. It's definitely worth surfing over to the Old Gray Lady to check out it all out. Pellegrin's photos alone are worth your time.
