Live-Action 'Star Wars' Bridge Series Casting
Monday, March 9, 2009 at 10:22PM
Far be it from me to question George Lucas (OK, maybe not), but are we really itching for more Star Wars at this point? I guess
we are, because we're getting it.

The lovely Rose Byrne, who can see next in Knowing, revealed to MTV that a live action Star Wars TV series is in the casting phase, and she
knows this because "a lot of my friends have been auditioning for it." What'll it cover? According the the Lucasians, it'll be a bridge between Darth Vader's
bellowed "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" at the end of Episode Trois and Star Wars. Finally, we'll get an explanation for why they went
with the feathered hair. I can't wait.
MTV says that there will be plenty of rebels rebelling, and we'll see Stormtroopers, but no Jedi and no Darth Vader. And as opposed to The Clone Wars
stuff, Lucas is said to be writing the episodes. MTV also reports he'll shoot them, which kind of surprises me. Because Lucas can do anything he damn well
pleases, he'll just go ahead and shoot a first season of the show and then shop it around to TV outlets.
I guess this is better news than more Indiana Jones, because there's still a lot of story left to tell, but isn't it time to move on to the Episode VII
stuff?

Did you know that someone is duplicating content from your site and posting it elsewhere? The site lorrd.com appears to be dedicated to taking content tagged “star wars” from multiple feeds and then republishing it on its own site. This happened an article on my own site and I’m spreading the word to others.
Here’s one article that they “borrowed”:

The site is hosted by VolumeDrive, so if you want to complain, you can file a DMCA takedown notice by emailing support@volumedrive.com. The DMCA takedown notice requires the ISP to remove the content (or lose their liability protection for copyright violations).
An example takedown notice that you can copy-and-paste can be found here:

Another one is here (under the “ISP DMCA” link):

If you end up doing anything, I would be interested in knowing about it.
hey star trek fans have had their crappy tv show for years, and nobody complains. it's time star wars fans get their crappy tv show. so stop your complaining.
