More Ridiculous 'Dragonball' Clips

A few days back, we got our hands on some new Dragonball Evolution clips, and we were amused by them. So, so silly. But just to make sure, here are four more.

Now, if you're new to this whole Dragonball thing, it was a originally a Japanese TV show, and it was animated. Now it's a live-action, American cheese version that simply doesn't look any good in trailers or clips. Sure, they're out of context, but even on their own, the acting and dialogue are miserable and the direction of the action just seems to club you over the head.

In fairness, the fourth clip isn't bad. The second one, the one with Bulma and Goku? Bo-ring.

Dragonball Evolution will be in theaters on April 8th.

You know this seems so made-for-tv or straight to dvd it isn't funny but if you look at it that way then it's not as bad. If you take it as something that should be worth seeing in a theater... well then it's laughable at best.

That's why I've been questioning its motivation all along. There's no question you can make something cool with it, either through the characters or the action. But it just seems like they wanted to go down the campiest avenue they could find. And I have no idea why that's a better option.

a movie only a geek can love, and even then they are going to fight about it.
