Seven 'Wolverine' Character Wallpapers

The movie kicking off summer 2009 is X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and he's one of the great comic book characters in the Marvel universe, but he's also proven to be one of the best movie superheroes, and almost all of that credit goes to Hugh Jackman.

And while it was great to see him in X-Men movies before, he's better off - at least in movies - as the unquestioned star of the show. So I expect this film to be a huge, huge hit, and based on the footage we've seen, it looks like it could be a fantastic ride. In addition to Jackman, you've got Liev Schreiber and Danny Huston, who can chew right through some scenery, which is perfect for the kinds of roles they're playing here. And, oh yeah, Ryan Reynolds.

On the official Wolverine site, there are seven new character banners, which were designed to be computer wallpapers. So use 'em for that if you want.

   

   

   
 

I hope this does well enough that it speeds up the Magneto movie, which is the other X-Men origin story on the horizon.
