It looks like a live-action Wonder Woman film is getting back on track. IESB cites multiple
sources that confirm Joel Silver's Silver Pictures is actively involved in moving Wonder Woman forward, saying "there
is quite a bit of movement" where the amazon warrior is concerned.

"[Warner Bros.] and Silver Pictures are in the early stages," reports the website, adding that fresh pitches on an idea for
the film have been fielded in the past few weeks. The character is likely the most famous DC or Marvel character not to have
a big screen adaptation either on the books or in the works, although it's not for a lack of trying.
The most famous recent incarnation of a Wonder Woman script involved Joss Whedon. By the sound of this update, they're
completely starting over with the character, meaning Whedon's ideas are probably all being scrapped. I watched the new
Wonder Woman animated DVD a couple weeks ago, and I think devoting a fair amount of time on the character's origins -
pre-Red, White, and Blue tights - is probably a solid place to start. Make a good chunk of the movie a female 300 and
then find your way into more contemporary circumstances.
The debate will rage on about how should play the character, and we've opened that discussion ourselves many times, but if
IESB is right, Silver Pictures boss Andrew Rona has this one on the fast track, so we could have an answer sooner than
later.
