Monday, March 16, 2009 at 4:12AM Russians Lead U.S. in 'Crank' Poster Technology
Over the weekend, we showed you a new TV commercial that's running for Crank: High Voltage. It's not as all-powerful as the trailer, but it's effective enough.
You know the drill on this, right? Neveldine and Taylor are back as writers/directors, and Jason Statham is again Chev Chelios. The rules of the game have changed, but only the minor details. For example, Chelios has his heart stolen and to get it back, he needs to jumpstart his artificial heart from time to time. Basically the same movie, although this one looks and sounds better than the first. And now, IMP Awards has a completely cool Russian poster for the sequel that again underscores what I always say: European posters are just better than American posters.

I'm not sure if he was just playing devil's advocate or what, but man, does the first Crank make my case. She looks hot in this, too, although we'll be able to gather more empirical evidence on April 17th.
