Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 10:57AM Linda Hamilton Recorded 'Terminator' Voiceover
Last month, Linda Hamilton confirmed that she was talking to the producers of Terminator
Salvation about recording a voiceover in the film, which would serve as a good bridge from the first trilogy to the new
one. And now, apparently, that voiceover has been recorded.

Citing "a source who has seen the film," CHUD reports that Hamilton's voiceover comes at the beginning of the movie, which
makes a lot of sense, and adds that it doesn't last that long. Without hearing it or knowing the exact context, I would guess
that it's just some exposition covering the events that occured between T3 and the beginning of the new film.
So now we know Arnold and Sarah Connor are in Terminator Salvation, and we know that McG has a fantastic idea for
using Robert Patrick in the fifth movie, and over the past few year, a movie I initially doubted has become one of the most
anticipated movies on my list this summer.
Good move? I certainly think so. It's important to keep as many of the original fingerprints as you possibly can. We know
James Cameron has no interest in this, but beyond that, I have to give the producers and McG credit for involving important
pieces of the first trilogy.
