See 'The General' and 'Waiting For Guffman' in Scottsdale This Wednesday

This Wednesday night, The Big Picture will host a special double feature at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art as part of SMoCA's current exhibit, Seriously Funny. In honor of the museum's tenth anniversary, Seriously Funny explores the many ways humor helps us understand the world.

We'll be on hand to show the classic silent film, The General and Christopher Guest's Waiting for Guffman beginning at 6:30pm. We'll discuss both movies on their own and how they fit into the greater theme of the exhibit. Incidentally, there are events planned throughout April at SMoCA, and Seriously Funny runs through May 24th.

To find out more about the Seriously Funny exhibit, and for ticket information for any of its associated programming, head over to SMoCA.org. If you're a local, we'd love to see you at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art this Wednesday night for a pair of classic comedies.
