There's a new public service campaign about clean water that I was hipped
to by Green/eco blogger Jerry James Stone. We've mentioned him before, I think. Anyway, he
pointed me to a fantastic video earlier today, and while you might not think a compelling
message about clean water exists - much less has anything to do with movies - here's proof to
the contrary.

First, why tell the story about clean water? Well, World Water Day was this weekend, and the
pull there is obvious: They want to raise awareness about the importance of healthy, pure
water. According by the statistics provided in the ads, over a million children die every year
just as a result of dirty water and poor sanitation. So this is serious business. But you can't
always approach millions of people with that message. You need to sugarcoat it, and here's the
sugar.
Check out these two PSAs produced by Good, which put new spins on Cool Hand Luke and Psycho that
really get the message across.
Kudos to Max Joseph, the director of both PSAs.
