How much more good could this news be? The answer is none. None more good. The three principal members of Spinal Tap, Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer, are reuniting and hitting the road...as themselves.

Yep, the Unwigged and Unplugged tour kicks off April 17th and runs through May 31st, with a brand new album featuring original studio versions of the Spinal Tap soundtrack set to be released on May 26th. Oh, and there will be more Tap tunes on future editions of Guitar Hero and Rock Band.
Collider was on hand earlier today at the announcement of the tour at the House of Blues, and got a sneak peek at how Guest, McKean, and Shearer - who also played The Folksmen in A Mighty Wind - will sound in concert:
