New 'Lesbian Vampire Killers' Music Video

The upcoming Lesbian Vampire Killers could be one of the great guilty pleasures of 2009. It could also just be garbage, but we'll hold out hope. There is great appeal to a film that delivers exactly what you expect it to, which in this case is lesbians and vampires.

Removing the built-in excitement for a movie with that title, the early reactions have not been overly strong. The BBC was kind enough (if that's the right description) to cull some reviews in the UK, where the film was released 10 days ago. “Forgettable,” “woeful,” “lazy” and “feeble” were among the choice adjectives. If those were in a restaurant review, you'd just go to Taco Bell, wouldn't you?

Be that as it may, we'll make up our own mind when or if the film makes it stateside. Between now and then, there's a new music video for the song that rocks the opening credits of Lesbian Vampire Killers, VW Brown's "Crying Blood." It features a few shots from the movie, so take a look.

There's no U.S. release date yet, and I think that depends on how it does overseas. But we'll keep you posted.
