Brand New 'Star Trek' Trailer Boldly Goes

Here's our most in-depth look at J.J. Abrams' Star Trek yet. The brand new trailer has a little more dialogue, a lot more shots of a lot more characters, and some unreal effects. So I'm going to shut up and let you watch it. It's definitely the droids we're looking for. Oh, damn it...that's that other thing. Sorry, people who can speak Klingon.

It's not as righteous as the new Terminator trailer, but considering it's a completely new direction for one of the most time-honored science fiction creations, I'd have to think everybody's pleased with what they're seeing. And maybe they'll be just as thrilled when the movie opens May 8th.

i think i'm discovering that i'm a star trek nerd. i must have been in denial all these years and i've been pumped for this since the beginning and everyone else i know is all, "umm, i don't know, i might see it." dumbies.
