Friday, March 6, 2009 at 5:01PM Bruce Willis Files Countersuit Against Producers
Bruce Willis is firing back at producers who named the star in a $4 million breach of contract lawsuit last week by filing a lawsuit of his own. Foresight Unlimited producers Moshe Diamant and Mark Damon claim that Willis walked off their production of Three Stories About Joan, which would have marked his directorial debut. He was also a co-star in the film and, according to the first lawsuit, Willis just quit the production last September.

Willis now says that the producers lied to him about the financing for the film, which had a projected budget of $20 million, according to Foresight. ON top of that, the budding actor-director says, but he was never paid for the time he did spend on the set, roughly $200,000.
Three Stories About Joan was also set to star Camilla Belle and Owen Wilson, and we haven't heard anything from them about non-payment or anything else. But Willis is asking for punitive damages for fraud and breach of contract, among other allegations, plus his $196,000 in unpaid salary.
Just because you havent heard of Damon and Diamant doesn't mean they're fly-by-nighters, though. Diamant has produced over 30 movied - admittedly, most of them are forgettable - and Damon has produced such films as Das Boat, 9 1/2 Weeks, and Monster.
Let the staredown commence.
