'Watchmen' Opening Credits and More Video
Sunday, March 8, 2009 at 4:29AM
A few more cool Watchmen videos have surfaced in the past
couple of days, which could enhance your experience if you're going to see it (or even if you
have seen it), and one of them is the experience.

As you probably know, there have been monthly video journal updates released on the 6th of
each month over the past year. I didn't expect one on the day the film was released, but
there's so much information about this movie that needs its own look, the producers of the
film created one more. This one is called Societal Parallels, and that title needs no
further explanation.

There's also a new viral video that I think probably should've come out before the film was
released. I mean, that's the point of a viral video, right? To raise awareness ahead of time?
Anyway, this is more manufactured old TV footage. It's like a cable access show, and I can
only recommend it if you go way back with the comic book.
And finally, perhaps my favorite part of the entire movie: The opening credits. A brilliant
narrative montage, showing us the rise and fall and rise and fall of masked heroes in the
second half of the 20th century, set to Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are A-Changin'."
Incidentally, the soundtrack for this film is remarkable.

That video was produced by yU + Co., and it's incredible work, don't you think?
