New 'Dragonball' Clips As Awful As You'd Think

We've been waiting for months to see some full clips from Dragonball Evolution, just to see if it's going to be as torturously silly as we've been led to believe by the production photos and the trailers. Now we've got clips. Our suspicions have been confirmed. Wow. This movie looks awful. There are two clips, one less pathetic than the first, but these are not compelling reasons to see the full flick. Unless, of course, your motivation is to see if this can actually somehow be worse than Street Fighter. The second clip - the more reasonable one - features Chi Chi (Jamie Chung) fighting herself. It's not all that well-edited, but if if were the only thing we saw tonight, then it wouldn't be so bad. But this first video, with Goku (Justin Chatwin) meeting Roshi (Chow Yun-Fat) for the first time, is absolutely embarrassing. Chow should fire his agent. This movie will be in theaters on April 8th. You've been warned.

ok... seriously i knew this movie was coming out eventually, the DBZ series was far too popular for it NOT to... i thought they might make it real action instead of anime, thought perhaps the concept couldnt b done so easily... but then i saw jumper. jumpers fight sequences were obvious shades of DBZ and done impressively................

WHAT I DIDNT EXPECT WAS FOR SOME REDNECK TO TAKE OVER AND TURN A POTENTIALLY BILLION DOLLAR IDEA INTO A PILE OF COWSHIT!

i mean... obvious flaws... hes white, hes american, hes not a sayian, its cheesy (more cheesy than acceptable aka streetfighter) it does follow any given story line and look down right crap

i will see it regardless, i will probebly throw up doing so but ill still watch it.

only bit of advice i can offer from here is scrap the whole movie, slap whoever made u do it like this then come get me to do it.

find me by my ip, fund me and give me access to resources then get me to make the bloody film because this looks like a DISGRACE! stab yourselves with a katana because of your shame

Well obviously the poster of this article is just one of those fella's who doesn't like Dragonball. However I see nothing wrong with the clips and they probably haven't gone through final edit. If the writer truly thinks this is bad, he hasn't seen many movies. Perhaps the writer of this weak attempt to lower expectations for the movie should not write articles about films he's obviously not a fan of.

And some of you hardcore fans need to get a life. Did you actually think they were gonna make this exactly like the anime. It probably has the things it needs to make it a Dragon Ball film, not all the extra stuff that even the anime dind't need. And they can't put everything in one film especially if they are going to make sequels.

Wow Boyd is getting the one two punch. They are bad clips, or at least show that there making this a cheesy movie, and possibly to cheesy. Time will tell. I do enjoy how the fanbase gets a split reaction between thinking this is all bad and defending it.
