Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 5:24PM Painful Trailer for Religious Flick 'C Me Dance'
"What do you know of hell, creature?" That's the question posed by Satan in a climactic moment of the new trailer for the low-budget religious drama, C Me Dance. Here's what I know of hell, and thanks for asking, Prince of Darkness: It can't be much worse than this trailer.

There has been a significant rise in the box office performance of Christian-based films over the past few years, culminating in the remarkable financial success of Fireproof last fall. Though it might be hard to replicate that kind of success across other forms of independent film because of the enormous audience of religious Americans who feel Hollywood doesn't make movies for them, there's no question it's a business model that's working.
But C Me Dance is quite different from previous entries in the category, in that a pretty young ballerina fights Lucifer (sans eyebrows). Based on the trailer, C Me Dance has some impossibly bad dialogue performed exactly the way you want bad dialogue to be spoken: Without a hint of self-awareness. If Heaven exists, I sure hope they've got a better selection of movies than the ones they're showing us here on Earth.
C Me Dance goes to war with the devil in selected theaters this Friday. Find out where it's playing near you by checking out the official C Me Dance website.

There are no words for how lame this looks. If this movie does well, Satan wins.
"Daddy, I'm so scared"- that line made me laugh out loud so hard, you have no idea. The CGI looks like a bad Charmed episode at best, and the dialogue is horrendous.
Finally another "so bad it's good" movie to love- I'm so there when it comes to theaters.
Hilarious. I can't wait. Looks like some of the shit made out here in Phoenix.
how embarassing... why is it that everything 'Christian' in the entertainment industry suck so bad?!?! What a pile of crap, I am a Christian and in no way shape or form do I want to associate myself with junk like this!!! and there seems to be a lot of it.
Satan wouldn't let me hear the audio. Damn him! Damn him straight to hell!
Seriously...something up with the audio?
As I read all these negative comments from people that have not seen the movie, I can't help but think, you might want to step away from your online girlfriends, put on your grown up pants and either see the movie and then make a comment, or go back to playing Warcraft. Some of you probably shouldn't go because it doesn't have sex or a disgusting and degrading content. You will be bored with a wonderfully intense story well told by talented people. Oh yeah, and the movie will reach the lost souls and encourage mankind to maybe stop destroying each other.
Ok, wow...that is bad (went straight to youtube..heard the audio).
JC, before you continue to insult and downplay everyone who's left a post, consider this. Everyone who leaves a post is giving you a "trailer" of themselves....just a glimpse...not an entire look...just like a movie. So who are you to judge with your "you are a bunch of online dorks without girlfriends, playing WoW, you'll never have sex...blah blah blah" typical insults? Maybe you need to step back, or more importantly step off your high horse. Besides...the whole "you're a bunch of online dorks" line of insults is way overused. Very unoriginal.
I am a strong Christian, dating a very strong Christian woman, I don't play WoW, and I don't seek degrading content in my entertainment. And I think this looks awful.
Think about preachers. Some are really effective preachers and great communicators who engage people, some are not. One preacher can preach a sermon and really reach people. Another preacher could take the exact same sermon word for word, and bore people to tears and reach no one. The "message" is only half the battle. The other half is how you deliver it.
From what this trailer shows us, it seems that most people feel the message delivery is gonna suck out loud. This movies message may be admirable...but that doesnt' make it a good movie

You're right about your last comment: If there's anything the major religions have proven time and time again, it's how not to destroy the world in the name of God.
