Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 1:58AM Hypnotic New Poster for 'Moon' with Sam Rockwell
Why just the other day we were talking about how cool the new sci-fi movie Moon looks.
It looks especially cool if you enjoy Kubrick's 2001, but that's really neither here nor there because I
can't imagine director Duncan Jones has never seen that movie.

Here's another space oddity: The isolated astronaut who can't reach out and touch his family (Sam Rockwell) is a
slightly similar storyline to a David Bowie song about an astronaut stuck in space, and curiously enough, David Bowie is the father of Duncan Jones.
That parallel has probably also not escaped the director.
So the trailer's cool, and Sam Rockwell, rules, but how about this poster? It was delivered to Ain't it Cool News
first, but on the heels of introducing the trailer to a lot of you recently, it seemed like a good idea to share
this, as well.

It's a very simple premise, but this is one of my favorite posters of the year so far. Moon will be in limited release beginning June 12th.
