Megan Fox Draws Blood in 'Jennifer's Body' Pic

Would you call Megan Fox a movie star? Is she in the same category as a Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, or even a Reese Witherspoon? I don't mean "Is Megan Fox hot and on a lot of magazine covers?", but can she make people go see a movie just because she's in it? She gets an incomplete grade at this point, though in her defense, she doesn't have a lot of movies to choose from since people first recognized her name. We'll have to see what she can do post-Transformers, because just as the success of that franchise isn't her doing, neither is the failure of How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. We'll get a better idea later this year when Jennifer's Body arrives in September. The Diablo Cody connection will also make audiences curious about a movie in which Fox is possessed by the devil and devours her sexual partners. There's a new pic of Fox in the film, apparently post-feast, that was scanned from the new issue of Empire.
Image courtesy of Rope of Silicon Jennifer's Body will be released on September 18th. I doubt it will be a major hit, but if she surprises people with her performance, it could lead to better things. And then maybe she'll become a movie star.

Heard this was toned down to go for a PG13. Which means it may make a bit more money, but it won't be as good as it could have been. Plus, you kinda lose your street cred if you like a PG13 horror movie. The Ring is sooooo Two Thousand Two.
