The Latest International 'Harry Potter' Trailer

I guess if your name is Horace Slughorn, you don't have a lot of hope to be anything but a magic user of some kind. Certainly, you won't be an NFL star or anything. Probably couldn't get elected to high office with that one, either. So it's a good thing there's a Harry Potter universe for him. The great Jim Broadbent will play Slughorn in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and he's given a pretty good run in this new international Potter trailer because he's a key figure in the Voldemort backstory, and unless you're completely unaware of what's going on here, it all comes down to Harry and Voldemort. I have to confess, I thought the series would face real trouble once the kid actors got older and once there began to be a lot of repetition with Voldemort in anticipation of the last film. But so far so good. Harry Potter will be released on July 16th, a weekend that served the The Dark Knight so well last year. In other news, Emma Watson, who turns 19 on Wednesday if you can believe it, will come across the pond to attend Brown University, admitting she'll put acting on hold for a while.
