Fox Reportedly Terminates 'Sarah Connor'

It appears that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will get the axe after two seasons on Fox. "It's done," a source tells Entertainment Weekly. "Everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks."

Another insider shovels just as much dirt: "Consider it canceled."

Fox, on the other hand, says no decision has been made on the fate of the show, which aired its season (and possibly series) finale last Friday. We'll know for sure no later than May 18th, when Fox unveils its Fall 2009 schedule, but don't bet on the ratings-troubled sci-fi show coming back for a third season.

Despite recent efforts by Fox to add some heat to its Friday lineup by pairing the hotness of Summer Glau with the hotness of Eliza Dushku on the also teetering Dollhouse, the numbers haven't elevated all that much over the past couple of months.

i thought they might wait and see how successful the movie is to determine whether or not to go ahead with a new series. if the movie is super successful, it might be heighten interest for a third season.

I hope the sci-Fi Channel picks up this great show. I have followed it for the two seasons it has been on, and think it's great. I've been a fan of the Terminator movies for years, and think this was a perfect timeline to pick-up where the movies had skipped over in John Connors life.
I would really like to see the characters develop and grow some more. Seeing how young John is becoming adult John makes for great TV.

Yet another great show seems to be failing. Friday night is a horrible time for tv shows. Fox should move TtSCC and Dolllhouse to another night so they have a better chance of attracting veiwers.
