Four New 'Half-Blood Prince' Posters

We were spoiled by last summer's movie posters. In addition to The Dark Knight, the best marketed film of all time, we had some terrific one-sheets from Hellboy II, as well. And in fact, all year long, we had a steady stream of great posters, like Burn After Reading, In Bruges, The Strangers, Step Brothers, and even Prom Night. I'm not really in love with the 2009 selection so far, and in particular, the summer movie posters are mostly bleh. There are some highlights, but it's relative. And on that note: Here are four new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince posters from Yahoo! Movies. I don't love these, either, although the unsaturated approach works and the disregard for the title is a nice touch. Honestly, if you feature Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince prominently on the poster, there's not a lot of room left for anything else. This set is better than a similar one released last month with one character apiece. It's like they've got a mentoring program going on now. Am I not remembering some really great posters from this year? Maybe it's because I should be asleep right now, but nothing unforgettable leaps to mind.
