This year's Pixar entry is
Up, due out on May 29th. I have said a few times that it doesn't look as ambitious as some of its more recent projects, particularly Wall-E. And while I can't go into detail, I have seen the film and its ambitions are certainly evident, but they are different than what we saw in Wall-E.

For this film, Pixar has enlisted director
Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc.), and it has a similar feel to that film. It's a buddy picture, there's a major emphasis on the comedy, and it's a little more cynical than, say, Cars or Ratatouille. But that's all I'll say until the 29th of May.
Here's a new featurette about Up, which is a little repetitive at first, but does a fairly good job explaining what Pixar wants out of it and what Pete Docter puts into it.
