Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 11:50AM Thank You, Michael Bay: Great ShoWest Footage from 'Transformers'
Via his website, director Michael
Bay has released some Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
footage that most of us have never seen. It premiered at ShoWest a few weeks ago, and it was certainly well-received then, just as I'm sure it will be now, especially since we finally get to see Devastator.

We've got a scene with stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox and then lots and
lots of autobots and decepticons. You forget how remarkable the effects are in these movies until you see footage
of the Transformers in action. They're so good, in fact, that I had to remind myself that when LaBeouf is chatting
to Bumblebee, I was looking at something that wasn't really there.
The first minute isn't exciting, but Bay more than makes up for it with the big finish.
Lest we forget, this should be the top earner of the summer, and I think excitement will only build in the next
month or so as more footage becomes available. Speaking of, the next trailer is two weeks away; it'll kick off your
Wolverine showings on May 1st.
Revenge of the Fallen is scheduled to open on Wednesday, June 24th.

This...looks....fucking...AWESOME
THIS MOVIE IS GOING TO BE ONE HELL OF A RIDE.
Who else has heard that Prime and Starscream get killed off.
I agree that Transformers 2 REVENGE OF THE FALLEN is going to be the box office blast of the summer, the rumors of Prime and the Mighty Starscream getting killed off I think are just that rumors. I can't see two of the most well known and popular Transformers characters ever being killed off in just only the 2nd live action Transformers movie. That would be totally bad PR with the fans of the Transformers universe. Being a G1 Transformers fan I remember when both Prime and Starscream were killed off in the 1986 animated classic. Worst mistake ever. Yeah both characters were brought back but the G1 series was never the same, then the whole cartoon format changed etc etc. on to Beast wars etc.. I don't think Bay will make that mistake, here's hoping that he won't . Prime and Starscream are both ICONS to Transformers fans if these two die it should be in the final Transformers film, in the final battle bewtween Autobots and decepticon forces, with the Autobots emerging victorious after one hell of a epic battle. Anyway NUFF said. Transformers 2 ROTF June 24th. The War Continues,, Don't Miss It..
