Harley Quinn in 'Arkham Asylum' Game Trailer

On June 9th, Batman: Arkham Asylum hits stores for XBox, PS3 and PC, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to it just a little bit. The game combines some of the best of the Gotham City mythos with some of the voice actors fans of the animated Batman series have come to know quite well.

Mark Hamill is back as the Joker and Kevin Conroy is the Caped Crusader, and the game has a real dark, gloomy look that fits with that particular nuthouse. Oh, and it's loaded with villains: The Riddler, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, and I think Fed chief Tim Geitner is a major player, too. OK, maybe not.

The latest trailer for Arkham Asylum features Harley Quinn, voiced by Arleen Sorkin, who has been the voice of that character since 1992 in all sorts of animated shows. But there's something different about this Harley. See if you can notice the change...

Played the game at the local Best Buy- nothing special unfortunately (but that's based on maybe 5 min. of gameplay)- basically that "Watchmen" game that came out a month ago, but with less Rorschach and equal button mashing.

Not horrible, but now I'm more reserved concerning my excitement for the game.

I'm digging the new costume (and the over-the-top, screeching voice acting); if a girl were to wear that costume for me....oh the possibilities....

I have yet to play it, but have followd the trailers, the game shows so much more then a button masher. There is a huge emphasis on being stealthy and planning out your attacks.

Still like the cartoon Harley Quinn myself.

If this is a "button masher" I would be sorely disappointed. Everything I have read says otherwise. It sounds like it is aspiring to something similar to the Riddick game, but we'll see.
