Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 6:45PM Sam Rockwell and Duncan Jones Talk 'Moon'
Donklephant founder Justin Gardner mentioned that he was watching this, so I had to go over to MakingOf.com to check it out for myself. Though I don't expect this movie to make a ton of money, it has so many of the right components that it's definitely high on my summer movie list, like Danny Boyle's Sunshine a couple of years ago.

Based on the trailer, Moon looks like gripping, dark sci-fi with an unpredictable ending. It stars Sam Rockwell as an astronaut in the final weeks of a years-long mission on the moon. But then something goes wrong...
Rockwell sat down with writer-director Duncan Jones to discuss Moon:
Moon will be in theaters beginning June 12th. If you're wondering about the Labyrinth references, Jones' father is David Bowie. So there's that.
Oh, and if you're not familiar with MakingOf, it's a great new movie video website co-founded by Natalie Portman. Expect bigger things from this site in the very near future.
